Grade 5 CAPS Maths Tutor – In-Person Postmasburg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced tutor to provide individualized instruction to a Grade 5 CAPS student in Maths. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in Maths, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to individual students’ needs.
Location: Postmasburg (West End)
Grade Level: Grade 5 CAPS
Job Type: Part-time
Subject:
- Mathematics (CAPS)
Session Details:
- Package: Basic (4 sessions per month)
- Day and Time: Thursdays, 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person tutoring to a Grade 5 CAPS student in Maths
- Develop and implement effective learning strategies to improve the student’s understanding and grades
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters academic growth and confidence
- Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring approach as needed
- Communicate regularly with the student and parents to provide feedback and updates
Requirements:
- Relevant academic qualifications (degree or diploma) in Mathematics or related field
- Strong knowledge of CAPS Mathematics curriculum and assessment standards
- Experience teaching or tutoring Grade 5 students
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual students’ needs
