About the Role

A Grade 6 learner in Oakdale, Cape Town, requires an experienced and reliable in-person Mathematics tutor to assist with the CAPS curriculum. Tutoring will take place twice a week on weekday afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clear and engaging Mathematics lessons.

• Support the learner in building foundational numeracy skills.

• Provide feedback and guidance to improve academic performance.

• Ensure lessons are structured, supportive, and motivating.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree or relevant qualification in Mathematics.

• Proven experience teaching/tutoring CAPS curriculum (Grade 6 or Intermediate Phase).

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.

• Ability to travel to Oakdale, Cape Town.

• Excellent communication, consistency, and reliability.
