From your last test to your final paper
Start with a marked question
Ask the learner to bring a recent test, the exam scope and their next exam date. Identify one or two topics that need the most practice.
Prepare for prelims
Build a short revision plan around those topics. Work through a question together, then ask the learner to try a similar question independently.
Prepare for finals
Revisit errors from prelims, work through timed sections and use the relevant marking guidelines to review lost marks. Include time for checking answers.
Practise these two first

Mathematics
Can you find the turning point but lose marks when sketching the graph? Practise linking the calculation to the features your sketch needs to show.
Physical Sciences
Work through a mechanics question from the diagram to the final answer. Check your choice of equation, direction and units.
Accounting
Use a cash-flow question to practise showing workings and explaining what the figures tell you about the business.
