Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced tutor to provide individualized instruction to a Grade 2 IEB student in English Language, focusing on reading and blending. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in English Language, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to individual students’ needs.

Session Details:

• House calls
• Preferably on Tuesdays

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person tutoring to a Grade 2 IEB student in English Language (reading and blending)
• Develop and implement effective learning strategies to improve the student’s understanding and grades
• Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring approach as needed
• Communicate regularly with the student and parents to provide feedback and updates

Requirements:

• Relevant academic qualifications (degree or diploma) in English Language or related field
• Strong knowledge of Grade 2 IEB English Language curriculum and assessment standards
• Experience teaching or tutoring Grade 2 IEB students in English Language
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual students’ needs
