Grade 5 CAPS Tutor – In-Person, Cape Town
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced male tutor to provide individualized instruction to a Grade 5 CAPS student in English, Maths, and Afrikaans. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in these subjects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to individual students’ needs.

Monday: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Wednesday: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Saturday: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Responsibilities:
-
Provide in-person tutoring to a Grade 5 CAPS student in English, Maths, and Afrikaans

Develop and implement effective learning strategies to improve the student’s understanding and grades

Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
-
Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring approach as needed

Communicate regularly with the student and parents to provide feedback and updates
Requirements:
-
Relevant academic qualifications (degree or diploma) in relevant subjects

Strong knowledge of Grade 5 CAPS curriculum and assessment standards

Experience teaching or tutoring Grade 5 students

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual students’ needs

Male tutor preferred
