About the Role

A Grade 9 learner in Scottsville, Pietermaritzburg, requires an experienced in-person tutor for Mathematics and Accounting (IEB syllabus). Tutoring will take place twice weekly in the afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured and engaging tutoring sessions in Mathematics and Accounting.

• Support the learner in preparing for IEB assessments and examinations.

• Provide regular feedback and academic guidance.

• Create a supportive and motivating learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree or relevant qualification in Mathematics/Accounting.

• Experience teaching/tutoring CAPS curriculum (Grade 9).

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Accounting.

• Ability to travel to Scottsville, Pietermaritzburg.

• Excellent communication, consistency, and reliability.
