Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced tutor to provide individualized instruction to a Grade 9 IEB student in Maths and Accounting. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in these subjects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to individual students’ needs.

Location: Westview Security Estate 1, Pretoria

Grade Level: Grade 9 IEB

Job Type: Part-time

• Accounting

Session Details:

• In-person (house calls)
• Twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
• Time: 16:00

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person tutoring to a Grade 9 IEB student in Maths and Accounting
• Develop and implement effective learning strategies to improve the student’s understanding and grades
• Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring approach as needed
• Communicate regularly with the student and parents to provide feedback and updates

Requirements:

• Relevant academic qualifications (degree or diploma) in Mathematics, Accounting, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Grade 9 IEB curriculum and assessment standards
• Experience teaching or tutoring Grade 9 IEB students in Maths and Accounting
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual students’ needs
