In-Person Tutor – Kyalami Area As Maths (Cambridge syllabus) Chemistry and Biology (Edexcel syllabus)

We are seeking experienced and qualified in-person tutors to provide comprehensive tutoring services for two students in the Kyalami, Midrand area. The successful candidate(s) will focus on the Cambridge Syllabus for AS Mathematics and the Edexcel Syllabus for Biology and Chemistry..

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth tutoring sessions for AS Mathematics (Cambridge) and Biology/Chemistry (Edexcel).
• Develop customized lesson plans tailored to the needs of each student.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure a thorough understanding of the subject matter.
• Evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Prepare students for examinations, specifically targeting the June exams.
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Proven experience in tutoring AS Mathematics (Cambridge Syllabus) and Biology/Chemistry (Edexcel Syllabus).
• Familiarity with the examination requirements and curriculum for the specified subjects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.

Schedule:

Duration: Till June exams
Frequency: 6 sessions per week
Location: Kyalami, Midrand
