Urgent: IGCSE Physics Tutor Needed in Randburg

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to provide individualized support to two students (a boy and a girl, aged 14-16) in IGCSE Physics. The students are in their first year of IGCSE and require guidance to grasp the concepts. The parents are eager to find a reliable tutor who can provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters academic growth and confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert tutoring in IGCSE Physics to two students (a boy and a girl, aged 14-16)
• Develop and implement effective learning strategies to improve the students’ understanding and grades
• Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters academic growth and confidence
• Set and achieve goals with the students, monitoring progress and adjusting the tutoring approach as needed
• Communicate regularly with the students’ parents to provide feedback and updates on progress

Requirements

• A degree in Physics or a related field
• Experience in tutoring IGCSE Physics
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the IGCSE curriculum and assessment standards
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of the students
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to regular tutoring sessions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Education, IGCSE Physics or related field
• Teaching certification or experience

Working Details:

• Location: Randburg area (near Fontainebleau)
• Time: 2 hours, twice a week (between 10 am – 12 pm)
