In-person AS-Level Math and Chemistry Tutor – Cambridge – Pretoria, Lynnwood
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced tutor to provide individualized instruction to AS-Level students in Mathematics and Chemistry, following the Cambridge curriculum. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in Mathematics and Chemistry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to individual students’ needs.

Job Type: Part-time
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized tutoring to AS-Level students in Math and Chemistry
- Develop and implement effective learning strategies to improve students’ understanding and grades
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring approach as needed
- Communicate regularly with students and parents to provide feedback and updates
Requirements:
- Relevant academic qualifications (degree or diploma) in Mathematics, Chemistry, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Cambridge AS-Level curriculum and assessment standards
- Experience teaching or tutoring AS-Level students in Math and Chemistry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual students’ needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in Mathematics, Chemistry, or related field
- Teaching experience at international schools or colleges
Schedule:
- Twice a week
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate student needs
