Grade 6 CAPS English Tutor – In-Person, Bronkhorstspruit
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced tutor to provide individualized instruction to a Grade 6 CAPS student in English, focusing on building foundational skills in reading and writing. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in English, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to individual students’ needs.

Responsibilities:

Provide in-person tutoring to a Grade 6 CAPS student in English

Develop and implement effective learning strategies to improve the student’s reading and writing skills

Start with phonics and build foundational skills

Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment

Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring approach as needed

Communicate regularly with the student and parents to provide feedback and updates
Requirements:
-
Relevant academic qualifications (degree or diploma) in English or related field

Strong knowledge of Grade 6 CAPS English curriculum and assessment standards

Experience teaching or tutoring Grade 6 CAPS students in English

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual students’ needs
