In-person AS-Level Math and Chemistry Tutor – Cambridge – Pretoria, Lynnwood

Job Type: Part-time

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized tutoring to AS-Level students in Math and Chemistry
• Develop and implement effective learning strategies to improve students’ understanding and grades
• Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring approach as needed
• Communicate regularly with students and parents to provide feedback and updates

Requirements:

• Relevant academic qualifications (degree or diploma) in Mathematics, Chemistry, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Cambridge AS-Level curriculum and assessment standards
• Experience teaching or tutoring AS-Level students in Math and Chemistry
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual students’ needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree in Mathematics, Chemistry, or related field
• Teaching experience at international schools or colleges

Schedule:

• Twice a week
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate student needs
